Why A Bit O’ Clean, LLC uses Norwex Enviro clean and Window cloths.
When I started A Bit O’ Clean, LLC, I did it because of my health issues and out of a desire to help people of lower income needing help cleaning and organizing, as well as helping people who need jobs but don’t fit the normal mold required by current culture.
I wanted to work. I wanted to be able to help people organize and clean their homes.
But I have one major problem: I have a very rare autoimmune syndrome, I also have an undiagnosed syndrome that is officially called by the doctors an “undiagnosed syndrome.” I react to chemicals like some people react to nuts. Vape can send me to the ER. Certain perfumes and especially plug-in scents make me really really sick. So I want to go help people clean but I have to be very specific into which houses I go. Hence the reason we carefully match our employees to the customers they’re serving engaging both sides with mutual understanding and respect.
We don’t want to just come in and clean. We want to help transition your life so that it’s easier for you in your home.
Norwex’s Envirocloth and window cloth is one simple, sustainable way to do that.
Norwex Envirocloths and window cloths replace the need for paper towels and chemicals to clean your windows and mirrors.
They are intentionally large enough to be folded into fours so you have eight working surfaces. We use the EnviroClean cloth with just water to quickly clean the surface removing any stuck on toothpaste, or other things from the window or mirror surface, and then use the window cloth to buff and provide a beautiful streak free shine to most glass surfaces. (Not intended for anti-glare coatings.)
I have found one set can clean the glass in a three-story, four bedroom, three bath house, though I do have to be careful because once the window cloth gets too wet, it has to be dried to be able to be used properly. So perfect world, for that size house, I would have two. But you can just throw it in the drier for 15 min to refresh as well.

They are guaranteed for 2 years at least, some of the products are guaranteed for five, and for me personally when I did the math, estimating if they were good for at least 5 years, I would save over $600 in paper towels alone with the purchase of just one or two sets.
When I researched online many customers said they last even more than 10 years with proper care. That’s a lot of paper towels! We would go through about 2 rolls a week in my house.
This, friend, is good economic sense.
Good sense for our business. Good sense for our homes.
The first home I cleaned in just prior to starting the business used those cloths. My entire life I have cleaned for people and I’ve always used various sprays, but with them came that huge chemical smell that makes me so sick.
When my customer handed me the Norwex window cloth and told me all I needed to do was scrub the window down with a wet rag and then use the Norwex window cloth to dry it, I didn’t believe her.
I thought – it’s going to be gross. It’s going to be full of streaks and I’m not going to be able to handle it, even if she does.
Using the Norwex enviro/window cloths, the wet cleaning cloth in my left hand, the buffing window cloth in my right, large bathroom mirrors are cleaned in no time, saving time, energy and money! I was done in a fraction of the time it would have taken me with the traditional chemicals —and there were no streaks.
As of this writing on February 11th 2026 the Enviroclean/ window cloth set is retailing around $46 on Norwex. While this may seem like a lot of money to some to spend on two cloths, with proper care we can save hundreds of dollars on not purchasing paper towels and cleaning sprays. In addition, we are not using chemicals that irritate lungs, especially in those with autoimmune or asthma.
I prefer the package of one window cloth and one regular cloth, a little bit better deal, here:

After using that cloth at the customer’s house, I signed up in less than a week to become a consultant … and yes,😊 I’m happy to be your Norwex consultant (Christa Mason) but if you already have a Norwex consultant please go through them.😍
I spent 3 hours researching and there are some things you’re going to need to know about Norwex products.
- Both Amazon and Walmart sell things listed as Norwex at a much cheaper price. According to the Norwex company they are not authorized by Norwex and could very well be imitations. How that works out legally, I have no idea and will continue to try to research that out. But the actual true Norwex cloths that are purchased through Consultants have a 2-year guarantee. They have something called BacLock.
- BacLock – “BacLock is an antimicrobial agent solely intended to protect and self-clean the cloth by inhibiting growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew.” I can’t tell you how many times I would throw away dishcloths or sponges because they would get gross and mildewy. And the mildew will literally make me sick because of my immune condition. These you just rinse them out and according to their site – “The densely woven, superfine fibers physically remove up to 99% of bacteria from a surface using only water.”
- Now obviously there it does have to be some level of care. They do have to be washed according to the instructions and whenever you’re done using them rinse them out thoroughly and hang them to dry or dry them in the dryer. But — they will clean and clean well when they are properly cared for.
- The window cloths are quite large. Proper use is to fold them in quarters and that gives you four surfaces with which to clean so you don’t have to keep changing cloths or paper towels out, you just flip the cloth to a different side. You can do this eight times. I can do two stories of Windows and mirrors in bathrooms with these two cloths. Just rinse them out and hang them to dry and then once a week following the directions wash them in the washing machine or hand wash them gently without a harsh soap and then toss them in the dryer to fluff them.
Now there are a number of other products that I recommend on Norwex and some other time I will let you know what they are. These are products that will save you time, energy and money as well as being healthy for your home and the planet. No product is perfect. But for me this is a perfect economic solution to staying chemical free.
So that my friend, is why we at A Bit O’ Clean, LLC use Norwex Enviroclean and window cloths!
With you on the Journey to a healthier, more peaceful home,
Christa Mason
